Welcome to St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency Program in Jacksonville, Florida! As one of the premier Family Medicine Residencies in Florida, we offer excellent education and the opportunity to live a family-friendly lifestyle. The St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Center, the residency program practice, has nearly 38,000 office visits annually, along with 400 obstetrical deliveries and 2,000 hospital admissions from our practice. We are also a key provider of Pediatric care in the community, with 6,000 pediatric office visits each year.
Our program has been fully accredited by the ACGME since 1972, also has the additional accreditation for Osteopathic Recognition. Both MD and DO residents train side-by-side which creates unique and valuable learning opportunities, with a structured curriculum to allow DO residents to continue developing advanced OMT skills. In addition to experienced Family Medicine physicians, our core faculty also includes Obstetricians, Pediatrician, Dermatologist, Clinical Psychologist, Geriatrician, and Clinical Pharmacist. This, along with our innovative schedule and ample elective time, provides training that allows our graduates to practice full-spectrum family medicine upon graduation.
